Not always, but depends on the context of the conversation. One popular description of hypnosis is that hypnosis is one of the "state of consciousness" (state of consciousness) of man.
In simple terms there are three states of consciousness of man, namely: "normal state" (normal state), "state Hypnos" (hypnotic state), and "state of sleep '(sleep state).
What are the main differences from "normal state" and "state of Hypnos"?
In the "normal state" of the human mind tends to be critical, namely analytical and judgmental. On the "state of Hypnos" reduced levels of critical human mind, so relatively easy to accept suggestions (suggestions) or other information.

Is there an example of the "hypnotic sleep" in everyday life?
The phenomenon of "sleep walking" or delirium is an example of "hypnotic sleep" which is often encountered in everyday life. Performers 'sleepwalking' really can do normal activities, even can open the door and closed it again. In general, participants 'sleepwalking' really did not realize what he had done, in other words the perceived permanent normal sleep as usual.
If "sleepwalking" is commonly done with eyes closed, then is there an obvious example of "hypnotic sleep" is done with eyes open? For those who often drive a car at night may have experienced "sleep" for a moment while driving, but the car still running on the right track even sometimes take place in situations of dense traffic.
In the above case that happens is "hypnotic sleep", whereby the conscious mind is asleep, while the sub-conscious mind to stay awake, even in conditions of the eye that remained open. In these conditions remain normal activities can be done, in this case as well as driving while awake. The process of "hypnotic sleep" in driving even can take several minutes.
In the case of accidents caused by falling asleep while driving the car show thing that happens is "natural sleep", so that the entire consciousness really can no longer respond to things that are needed in driving a car.
Does hypnosis always identical with the waving hands, swing the pendulum, as well as relaxation or meditation guide? In simple terms there are two basic forms of hypnosis, namely "formal hypnotic" and "informal hypnotic."

And what an example of informal hypnosis?
Informal hypnosis, or hypnosis, usually in the form of indirect natural communication patterns of everyday life, but can cause a person to enter the "state of Hypnos" repeatedly between "normal circumstances", usually a "state of Hypnos" which occurs range only a few seconds but may last over times. This informal hypnotic techniques usually applied in everyday life, although perhaps unconsciously, for example by a reliable vendor that is able to move the prospective buyers, from initially not interested, to consider, and ultimately make a purchase.
At this time also began to develop informal hypnosis in the areas of non-therapeutic, eg for selling hypnosis, hypnosis for parenting, etc..
